Composite Footing Pads
Traditional concrete footings are carelessly dropped into the holes and many times broken. Composite footings won't break and are engineered to be stronger.
RotBloc
Your structural posts will often rot the first few inches underground. This is where organisms live that create the decay. Unlike our competitors, we use RotBloc. Which wraps around the post and prevents any rotting!
Joist Tape
Leaving a brand new frame bare is something we refuse to do. Moisture kills decks! Joist tape is a butyl rubber barrier that prevents moisture from getting into the nail and screw holes in a deck. This greatly extends the life of our deck.
4 Sided capping
Trex, Fiberon and all of our competitors only use capping on 3 sides. This leaves the underside of the deck board susceptible to moisture. Which destroys the deck boards. TimberTech has 4 sided capping preventing moisture from entering the board.
Joist Spacing
The distance between joists is directly tied to the strength of your deck. The industry standard is 16". We use 12" to ensure superior strength and support on your deck.
6"X6" Posts
A strong foundation is what leads to a long life. On the left you will see a 4X4 post. This is the industry standard, we only use 6X6's pictured on the right. These posts are significantly bigger and stronger. Providing the sturdiest deck possible.
Fading and Stains
Early generations of composite have many issues with fading, stains and material quality. Some brands facing class action lawsuits. TimberTech comes with a minimum 25 year warranty. Which covers fading, stains and is transferable. This greatly increases the return on your investment.
$10,000 10'X10' Deck
At 100 square feet. 2 steps and 32' linear feet of railings. $10,000 will build you a deck that will need to be stained yearly. Boards replaced after a few years, and a lower return on your investment. A TimberTech composite deck will yield a higher return on investment along with NO maintenance!!
